Emilio Borsa’s (Milan, 1857 – Monza, 1931) studio was located at Cascina del Sole, the residence of a family of gamekeepers.
For the Monza-based painter, ‘true painting’ arose from daily observation of nature and a careful, almost scientific study of leaves and stems. He loved to paint landscapes without figures, immersing himself in the complete solitude that only nature can offer, filling the air with its rustling and natural sounds.
Emilio Borsa’s work is enhanced by a contemporary gilded frame. It features decorative elements in relief, elongated and rounded in shape, typical of the first half of the 20th century.
This small painting is an exceptional piece that will appeal to the most discerning collectors and art lovers looking for a rare and serene work. It will find a place of honor in an elegant interior or a prestigious art collection.
