Paola Epifani alias Rabarama was born in Rome in 1969.
Daughter of artists, she moved to Padua after her studies, where she still lives and works.
She began her artistic training at the Liceo artistico in Treviso and then completed it at the Accademia di belle Arti in Venice, graduating with distinction in 1991.
Immediately after graduating, she began to participate in numerous national and international sculpture competitions, winning both critical and public acclaim.
Rabarama creates sculptures and paintings that depict men, women, or hybrid creatures, often considered eccentric. The skin of the subjects created by the artist is always decorated with symbols, hieroglyphic letters and other figures in various forms. (Biography taken from the artist’s official website)
