Antonio Achilli was a Roman artist whose deep sense of humility, religiosity and greatness lets him communicate deep, universal messages to this day.

Even after his death, his work became a touchstone for young Roman artists and in 1930, a large exhibition was organized by Pier Maria Bardi at the Galleria di Roma.

Cagnaccio delineates the sculptural form with clarity with an energy that verges on surreal hallucinations,  using color that is usually hard and glass-like, suggesting the Murano painters of the 15th century. 

Carlo Nason born in Murano in 1935. He grew up spending time with master glass-workers in the family furnace.

While his work started off Impressionist, over time it became more like that of the Macchiaioli.
He also devoted himself to sculpture.
