“Il cancello” is an original, outstanding painting realized by the italian artist Ottone Rosai in 1950. Signature at lower right.
Description
On the verso of the canvas there is a notarial label Eredità Rosai dated 30/5/1957 with the following inscription:
“painting found in Ottone Rosai’s studio on the day of his death. True signatures of Messrs: Francesca Fei ved. Rosai fu Angelo, Oreste Rosai fu Giuseppe, Lucio Krismancic di Alessandro, known to me 30 May 1957′.
