Valori Plastici

In 1918, the couple Mario Broglio and Edita Walterowna (who took on the surname Broglio after marriage) founded the magazine Valori Plastici. The magazine aimed to theorize and bring to life a new project of contemporary figurative culture connected to the Italian tradition and opposed to the avant-garde. This initiative contributed to the emergence of a new artistic movement that would later be known as the Return to Order.

The magazine Valori Plastici was founded in 1918 by Mario Broglio and Roberto Melli in the third room of the Caffè Aragno.

The birth of Valori Plastici is closely linked to the crisis of the avant-garde.

The exhibitions of the Valori Plastici group

The war again interrupted the group’s activity, which resumed around 1950.

In 1959 she exhibited at the 8th Quadriennale in Rome and in 1967 a group of her works was presented at the historical exhibition “Arte Italiana 1915-1935″

She died in Rome on January 19, 1977
