Mauro Stampatori

Mauro Stampatori (1948-2014), a Roman of seven generations, is a painter and an architect.

He splits his time between these two intense roles, cultivating them both with equal love, commitment, and success.

In April 2012, he opened the “Art Gallery Studio,” a small but abundant gallery of his own works of painting and architecture, now an important center in Scansano, in Piazza Garibaldi n.18, which collects both paintings of recent and ongoing production as well as works made over his thirty-year-long career.

Mauro Stampatori has had many exhibitions of his paintings in recent years including:

-Rome, in Piazza De Ricci, in 2000,

-Scansano, in 2004 and 2007, at the “Museo della Vite e del Vino,” at the “Fortezza di Montalcino”.

In June 2008, at the “Palazzo de Capitani” in Ascoli Piceno, in July 2008, at the “Centro Arte Moderna” in Pisa, in May 2009, and again in Scansano, at the prestigious “Enoteca la Cantina,” and in the summer of 2011, from July 20 to August 19, 2012, a new exhibition in the Council Hall annexed to the “Biblioteca Comunale” in Castiglione della Pescaia.

Dividing his time between Italy and other European countries, he has worked independently as an artist and architect at his studios in Rome and Scansano.
