Renato Mambor

Renato Mambor, an artist known for his experimentation and innovation in the visual arts, began his career in cinema, working with renowned artists such as Federico Fellini.

In the art scene in Rome, Mambor formed connections with artists like Mario Schifano and Cesare Tacchi and exhibited at various galleries.

In the Roman art context, Mambor held his first exhibition in 1959 at the Galleria l’Appia Antica, together with Mario Schifano and Cesare Tacchi, and also established relationships with artists such as Tano Festa and Jannis Kounellis at the Scuola di Piazza del Popolo.

He also spent time in the United States, studying Andy Warhol’s Pop Art movement, although he did not particularly resonate with its vibrant and colorful style.

Later, Mambor moved to Milan and founded the Trousse theater company, exploring the cognitive and emotional aspects of human existence.

It was during this time that he met Patrizia Speciale, who became his collaborator and later his wife.

After a break from painting, Mambor returned to the art form in the 1980s and collaborated with galleries on his works.

Throughout his career, Mambor has remained dedicated to pushing boundaries and exploring new artistic possibilities.
