Mario Bandini
The sculptor Mario Bandini (1908-1979), a student of Libero Andreotti collaborated with the Florentine Zaccagnini ceramic factory starting in the mid-1930s. He made many plastic models for series production. Starting in 1938, he began the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs series, based on the characters from Walt Disney's cartoons and movies, and he went on making them until 1955, for a total of about 150 pieces. His fame grew to the point that Walt Disney commissioned him to make ceramic figurines of all his characters.Technical Details
