Description

It is decorated with pomegranate fruits and colorful foliage. The scroll designs are in brightly-colored but simple and elegant, typical of Liberty-influenced styles. What's more, this beautiful design object is in excellent condition. On the bottom is a painted trademark: "Z" (Paolo Zoli) circled with four wavy rays and the word Faenza. This elegant round vase originated in the Faenza kilns in the early 20th century. The history of Faenza ceramics is well known worldwide. In Faenza, countless great artists and designers have been involved in the making of vases, statues, and decorative objects: everyone from Gio Ponti to Arturo Martini. Our vase is the work of two great designers, Pietro Melandri and Paolo Zoli.
