The mercury mirror at the top is frosted.
The right guard (the outer part of the fan) and the lower part of the mirror feature of hand-painted decoration in the style of a murrina bead. The back of the mirror is wood.
The base and the two feet are gilded brass.This gem from the 1920s comes from a Milanese collection.
