Roy Fox Lichtenstein

Roy Fox Lichtenstein (New York 1923-1997) American painter.

One of the most prominent initiators of American Pop Art

Uses enlarged comics with expanded graphics images to express, through advertising media, the trivialization to which mass information subjects each real fact.

He also borrows from the photos of masterpieces of the past the theme of his works

by expanding them through the projector and using the almost “pointillist” technique of typography.
